If your time is limited or you can't afford unexpected lengthy downtime, pick a well established agricultural brand with good dealer support in your area (whatever you see your local farmers using most often). If weeks of downtime are a non-issue, then getting the Asian tractor makes economical sense. These aren't automobiles that go 100,000 miles with only an oil change - things will break and need repair on your tractor if you use it for farm tasks it's rough, hard, dirty work. Some may think that 'paying for green paint' is foolish, but now I can see why the resale on John Deere equipment is so high, it's both well built and well supported. I bought the John Deere used but the local dealer has just about any part IN STOCK that I can go pick up in minutes, fix the tractor and get to work again.and this is for a 20 year old model. I can tell you that while my support from Kioti has been good under warranty, getting parts can take weeks.

They seem to be trying to get a foothold in the North American market in the crowded and popular compact tractor segment, but aren't well established here yet. TYM is a large manufacturer overseas and I think they now own Branson and Kukje brands, and build smaller tractors for Mahindra. Much like Hyundai and Kia at the turn of the millennium, good service and support from a local dealer is going to go a long way.Dealer/parts support matters way more than the color or brand of the tractor. It really mirrors the automobile industry in that regard as well, as does the disappearance of many domestic and legacy brands. It's interesting seeing the concerns regarding these Korean machines slowly work away as the time passes, much as they did for the Japanese imports two or three decades prior. Take a new cartridge and apply a thin film of oil to the O-ring.

Turn the oil filter element counterclockwise with a wrench. Start with the HST oil filter, located on undercarriage of your tractor. Speaking of the aforementioned TYM made Mahindra's, TractorHouse always seems to have a number of them selling with a few thousand hours- and that, to me, speaks well of their potential longevity. Changing filters and cartridges on a routine basis can significantly enhance the working efficiency of your tractor. The only reason I didn't give them a proper look is that I straight up don't trust the local dealer, and that's unfortunate. Frankly it's nice to see so much good being said about them, because a decade ago they didn't seem to hold this confidence which I find a bit odd given TYM made Mahindra's have seemed quite well regarded for years now. The only real negatives I've seen regarding TYM's current lineup are dealer related, and really that's a potential issue with any brand.
